Constructed in 1925, this residence at no. 81 was demolished in September 2021 to make way for the Melvista on Broadway development. It had previously sold for $2m on 15 May 2019.

 

Together with the neighbouring house at no.79, this property was developed for a 34 multiple dwelling and shop tenancy building. Lodged on May 8, 2020, the development application was approved on December 1, 2020 at a cost of $13.8 million.

 

As of October 2024, if construction hasn’t already been completed, it surely must be very close.
